Comics 2 Film

Comic 2 Film is one of the reigning trends in Hollywood movie production at this current moment. This movie production trend would continue for many more years.

You can check out some comics to film at the websites listed below.

These websites are: http://www.comics2film.com/ and http://comicbookmovies.com.

Furthermore, with the emergence of many comic book favorites on the big screen and more on the way, comic book fans are elated. However, comic book fans are also in high expectations and do not want to be disappointed.

Over the recent years comic 2 film as proved to be a wise choice and has been very successful. However not every comic to film has yielded the success at the box office as expected. Okay a few of them straight out flopped. Even though some comic 2 film experienced flops the movie production companies are still willing to give some of the more popular characters another shot.

WHY THE INCREASE IN COMIC TO FILM?

Well, many successful movies such as Road to Perdition, Men in black, Dick Tracey, The Mask and the more recent Spiderman, and X-men etc. were all comic 2 films. And we all know that once a movie is successful it yields profit. Great revenues are enough to make Hollywood or any industry try something. And for Hollywood, money speaks the loudest.

Time Warner is a movie production company most of us are familiar with. Time Warner has bought over DC comics and I believe even has ownership over some of the comic book characters. Time Warner must have been aware of the popularity of some comic book characters and realized the success of many comic 2 film productions. I am sure Time Warner would definitely maximize on the comic 2 film market. In Hollywood, money talks, therefore movie producers would do what they believe would generate revenue.

COMIC TO FILM CONCERNS

Some major concerns from fans when big time production companies get involved is whether or not the movie production companies would change or manipulate the storyline in order to fit a broader audience. I believe this shouldn’t be a problem because I’m sure that many of the producers are aware that it is the story line that made the comic book and main character popular in the first place. To do this would most likely lose the interest of the fans, possibly resulting in lower sales of the movie. And that has been one good thing that I’ve observed in most of these movies, is that the movie producers have still been able to stay true to the characters storyline.

Of course, the best solution to this would be if the comic book companies produce their own movies based on their popular characters. But we all know this is going to be almost impossible, because most of these comic book industries don’t have that kind of funds to produce a movie. Now we are talking about a movie that would need the use of upscale and high graphics to properly represent the character’s abilities.

As long as the movie industry sees profit in the comic book market, comic 2 films would continue to be produced. Furthermore, if the comic book company has some rights to its characters, they too would make profit. I believe this is the case for marvel comics, in that they still make some profit off their characters comic 2 film productions. I believe Marvel comics even experienced some increase in sales after major movie productions like Spiderman. If that is a consistent result of comic 2 film productions then it would be a win-win situation for the two companies. And hopefully it would also be a win for the comic book fans.
